Kids Rock! is a very unique children’s ministry that specializes in making everyone from the 1st time guest to the long time church attendee instantly comfortable with basketball goals, hockey tables, tons of games and an inviting open space that you have to get involved in. It is an engrossing environment that demands your attention, with heart pounding music, videos and lights. Our services involve exciting praise and worship, teaching, team competition and small group time where the kids are in an age appropriate group with a leader. Kids Rock! is for all children from 1st thru 5th grade. Kids Rock! is just something that must be experienced. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at either the 9am or 11am service.

Todd Mears, Kids Rock! Ministry Director

Todd has always been involved in the ministry since he accepted the Lord as his Savior at seventeen years old. Whether it was playing an instrument during praise and worship or singing in the choir, he has always been involved in some kind of ministry. However, Todd has always been drawn to children’s ministry, because he himself is a child at heart – ask his wife. (my wife says that she is raising a 3rd  child along with my little girl MaKayla and my son Ryan).  Children are so open and honest about there feelings and he believes that the most significant thing that we can give our children is our time. Todd cannot remember one present that he ever received as a child.  Yet, he remembers very clearly every time that his father took time to throw the ball with him even though he had just gotten in from work or how his mother always had a listening ear when he needed to talk.

Todd has been at High Point Church for five years and has seen God move in a tremendous way. Todd believes he is a living testament to what God can do when you live life fully committed to Him. He considers it an honor to have the opportunity every Sunday to take the hand of a trusting child and place it in the hand of the Savior that he gave his life to so many years ago. Todd and his wife, Pam, have two kids – daughter MaKayla and son Ryan.
