This time is designed to help you understand the Bible’s teaching on healing and then have Pastor pray and believe with you for your healing. I was the one with the walker several weeks ago waiting for back surgery.- I had 3 herniated discs, before the doctor operated, one disc healed itself. I was able to go home the evening of surgery. Recovery was quick and now I have no pain!
- Last week 3year old Jacory was care flighted to children’s hospital after being hit by a car. He sustained brain damage and bleeding in the brain. He was in a coma. Pastor and April and the congregation prayed the prayer of faith for his healing. The bleeding stopped; he pulled the breathing tubes out him-self. Jacory was released from the hospital Friday completely healed.

- During the 10 days of prayer, our daughter Kristen was told she had 2 large lumps in her breasts. We prayed Sunday morning, and on Monday, the test revealed no lumps. That is exactly what we had prayed for!

I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, where it had metastasized into the brain and other organs. Doctor’s gave me less than 6 months to live.
Pastor anointed me with oil and April and the congregation prayed the prayer of faith. I have prayed, read the word and came against the negative thoughts trying to invade my mind and CHOSE to trust God.
This past week tests were taken and they showed no cancer. As a precaution I will undergo 2 more treatments of radiation at the Doctor’s request. I thank God for my healing.

- Our grand-daughter Cheree has had a lung disease from the age of 10 years old. The Doctors have said there is no cure for this bronchial disease. BUT GOD!
- We gave a photo for Pastor and April to pray over. Her breathing capacity is up to 85 it was, 21 and she has also been able to gain around 15 pounds. We thank God and the prayers of our church.

- A few months ago my mother Inez was diagnosed with cancer. She was told she should have Chemo/Radiation treatments. However she decided not to and trusted the Word of God and leaned on the Lord for her healing. Our TouchPoint and staff at HPC prayed the prayer of agreement with me for complete healing.
- She was given a report after results were taken and told she was cancer free. A short time later tests revealed there could be more signs of cancer, prayer was sought and the Doctor now has said no cancer, something we already knew.

- Last month I had asked the church for prayer regarding my brother-in-law Tony. He has cancer, and went through a bone marrow transplant. The day of surgery, by the evening he was up walking the hallways with his wife. The doctors are amazed, I AM NOT!

- At the Women by God’s Design conference I prayed with Ms. Dodie and April for my grandson who was about to take his taks test at school. He had been diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and some form of depression.
- I took a prayer cloth and pinned it to his shirt for the 2 days he tested, he scored 2245, just 6 questions away from the commended performance. Previously he had scored 2065.
- He was promoted to the 6th grade, I was so glad as I had seen his emotional state when told he would have to repeat the 5th grade.

Healed of Breast Cancer
Several months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Without hesitation I called my daughter and son- in-law who attend HighPoint Church and asked them to keep me in their prayers. My daughter immediately contacted a couple of staff members at HighPoint Church and asked them to include me in their daily prayers. Going into my surgery I felt at peace knowing I had all of these people praying for me… I knew I was in the hands of our Great Physician. After surgery I was told they were able to remove all the mass/tissue. My daughter sent a praise report to the church and asked for their continued prayers. A few days later I was told they found spots on my other breast and my physician highly encouraged me to take chemo/radiation. Without hesitation, I called the devil a liar in my physician’s office and refused the treatment. I told my physician I was healed according to God’s promises and would continue standing in faith. He wasn’t happy with my decision, but it was my choice. He scheduled me for more tests and another mammogram to check on the spots and to ensure the cancer had not spread to my lymph nodes. Everyone continued praying and standing on the scriptures and PRAISE GOD…on 11/05/06 I received the results to my tests by mail and was able to call my daughter to let her know that my test results show that I am cancer FREE!!!!!! The spots are gone and there is no sign of cancer! We truly serve the Great Physician! My heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful and faithful people of HighPoint Church for their prayers!

Healed of Cystic Lump
A few weeks ago, I got an ugly report from the doctor after suffering from low pelvic pain. The report said I had a cystic mass on the left side of my uterus the size of a two-month pregnant woman. The ultra sound report suggested I have a MRI of my pelvis. Instead, I went to see my OB/GYN doctor, who read the report and told me I had two choices - to either have a complete hysterectomy or to try medication to shrink the mass. Of course my first thought was “BUT GOD!!” so I opted for the medication to have time to pray.
That Sunday, you preached on our physical health and you said something just for me. You said “God does not want you to have surgery.” This was God speaking through you right to me. I knew then that I didn’t have to settle for surgery and I had one week before seeing the doctor again to enlist everyone I knew to start praying for me. I sent out emails to JoAnn Georgostathis at the church and also to my employer, Donald Ragsdale, who is a pastor that travels all over the world building new churches and he sent out emails to all his churches to pray for me. I also had Richard and Becky Jackson lay hands on me and anoint me with oil. I had my TouchPoint family praying too, along with all my family and friends. I was so thankful that the Lord had given me a wonderful husband and mighty Christian brothers and sisters to encourage me and hold me up during this time.
But the battle had just begun! The enemy started to attack my mind. He brought fear and anxiety. He told me lies about what was going to happen to me. He brought high blood pressure, something I had never had before and this was causing my heart to palpitate. I had thoughts that I was going to have a heart attack! It was such a struggle not to lose my peace or become depressed over all that was happening to me physically. I could have become downcast very easily but the Holy Spirit would come and bring the word to me that “God will make a way when there seems to be no way” and “no weapon formed against you will prosper.”
During one attack, I called again on Richard and Becky Jackson so that their TouchPoint family could pray for me, only this time I was on the telephone with them and they all stood, held hands and prayed in the spirit. An amazing transformation took place. I felt something lifted off of me as they were praying. When they had finished praying, I was drenched in water - I mean it was dripping off of me! This had never happened to me before. I felt at peace and the high blood pressure and heart palpitations had been lifted off of me! I was declared healed in Jesus Name!
The next day, I went to Don’s house, my employer, who also anointed me with oil and prayed over me, declaring that I was healed in Jesus name. At this point, I was still having symptoms, pains in my lower abdomen. Even though I believed that I was healed, I still had to walk it out for some reason. I prayed and told God that whatever He had for me I was ready, that I trusted Him with all of my heart, mind, and soul. I asked that He forgive me for whatever I had said or done to open up this doorway and to shut it now in Jesus name. And then all of a sudden I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me about re-reading a book that I have called “There Is A Miracle In Your Mouth” by Pastor John Osteen.
This book saved my life!!! John Osteen’s words leaped off of the pages at me. Even today he is still healing people through his written publications. Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, I met him that day in his words to me. His legacy lives on in his books.
I started doing what he says to do in his book. I started professing my healing out of my mouth. I would confess it out all day long, sometimes hundreds of times a day. I kept saying over and over “By his stripes I am healed.” Then a few days later, the pain left my body and I was completely healed and made whole!! The miracle was in my mouth the whole time and all I needed to do was to profess it out!!
The time had arrived for me to return to the doctor and have another exam. The doctor felt around and looked up at me with bewildered eyes and said “Oh my goodness, your uterus has shrunk. It is back to normal size!!! He said he was going to tell me that I would have to have major surgery! I told him that it was God who healed me! He told me that he wanted me to come back in 3 weeks for an updated ultra sound.
After 3 weeks had passed, I returned to my physician’s office for the follow-up ultra sound and the report came back normal!! No masses or abmoralities of any kind!! I was healed in Jesus’ name! The miracle was in my mouth!!
I am so thankful to God for healing me and for allowing us to sit under the ministry of High Point Church and the legacy of Pastor John Osteen that helped save my life.

Healed of Cancer
I had some tests run thinking I might have an ulcer or some small thing that we could treat quickly.
I was at work when my doctor called and said to take off from work and get to his office ASAP. That day – May 24, 2000 – at exactly 11:34AM (I looked at his clock trying not to look directly at him) he said I was already in stage two of cancer (there are only four stages). I immediately called my husband from my cell. I was crying so hard I had to pull over to the side of the road.
We were attending another church at the time, and we had a sixteen year old daughter. They did pray for me when they found out, but after that we saw less and less of them. I could not handle the drive and I guess they could not handle coming to our home. It took away all of my daughter’s faith – not only in pastors, but in God. We were out of church two years due to this incident. This added to the cancer was too much to handle! I had followed High Point since they came to the Metroplex. After my daughter’s meeting with April Simons, we began attending the church as much as possible. We hadn’t lost our faith… but we were hanging on by a shred.
That was the greatest thing we found, and to this day, love about High Point. When we could not be there or there was a need whether spiritual or physical, they did all they could to meet us right where we were – holding us up and letting us know we were not alone. The Kidspoint leader, Misty Westlund, kept checking on not only my granddaughter, but our entire family. When we could not hold up our hands in faith, the ministers and the body of believers were a drink in our desert.
I finally called April Simons and we talked for over an hour making my funeral plans, because I didn’t want Jimmy or Shaundra to take on this task. She told me she would comply with my wishes, but in my darkest time, she said she was not giving up and would not let me give up either.
So many people from High Point stayed by our sides. Two weeks later, my lab was run. My doctor called and asked me to come back in – there was something wrong with the test. We ran it twice more. I was cancer free!
I thank God for High Point – not only Pastor Gary and April Simons, but also all the people who kept my entire family lifted up. High Point is a place where miracles happen and lives are changed. If you have a need or just need a place to call home, this is the place!
