VISION PARTNER MINISTRY AREAS
(Completion of HPC Membership Class required for all areas of service)
Open Air Team/Greeters/Ushers: Over and over we hear from our first time guests and members how warm and friendly everyone is at HighPoint Church. It begins with our amazing Open Air Team who greets and assists people as they come on campus to find parking. Then everyone is welcomed by HPC’s greeter team who serve in many capacities throughout the Colonnade. Then the Ushers welcome and guide everyone into the Sanctuary to assure that everyone is seated and the sanctuary is running smoothly. If you have a heart for people and want to make everyone feel welcome at High Point then this ministry is the ministry for you.
Water Baptism Ministry: People on this team work closely with the minister in charge of baptism to assist those being water baptized after Sunday service. The team member gives direction, takes information as the person prepares to be baptized and prepares a Water Baptism certificate for each person. This is a very rewarding ministry that gives you an opportunity to bless people in this special season of their lives. Bi-Lingual people are especially needed.
Music Ministry/Media Production: If you love to worship God and can sing there are opportunities for you to be a part of the dynamic praise and worship team of HPC. Also available are opportunities to serve in the Media Production end of the services which includes camera, sound and graphics operation. Come have a great time with these great teams.
Outreach: If you have a heart for the poor and destitute, the Outreach ministry is for you. Weekly opportunities exist to help with organization and management of the Outreach Center, community outreach events, as well as, monthly opportunities to feed the homeless.
TouchPoint Leaders/Prayer Partner Ministry: TouchPoint leaders are responsible for leading the small group ministry of HighPoint. As leaders they open their home or meet at a selected site with a group of people who study the Word, pray for the vision of HPC and reach out to their neighborhood, friends and families with the Word of God. They also have the opportunity to act as Prayer Partners during Sunday morning services and assist those who respond to the altar call by praying with them, giving next step guidance and follow-up. Completion of HPC Leadership class is required as well as prayer partner training.
Bookstore/Product Sales: Volunteers that serve in this ministry will be assisting others with purchasing messages, materials, and other HPC items before and after service as well as special events. This is a wonderful way to “spread the Gospel” with items that will enhance a daily walk with the Lord. We are looking for those who love to serve others and are flexible. If this sounds like you, come and join our team!
CD Duplication: This ministry works in sync with the Product Sales ministry in providing messages on CD for weekly services and special events. Volunteers will be trained to produce messages on CD format for purchase in our HPC bookstore. This ministry is vital for those in meditation of God’s word and for sharing the CD messages as tools for soul-winning and to be a blessing to others.
Hebrews Coffee Shop: Ever wanted to work at Starbucks, but didn’t have the time? Want to learn how to make your favorite coffee drink, but not have to buy the machines? Volunteer at Hebrews twice a month and have a great time while learning and meeting the needs of the church. This high-energy area is looking for those who are 18 and older.
KidsPoint/KidsRock: Our mission is to creatively nurture children to love God and share His love. We do this each week through our anointed volunteer Children’s Ministers. If you feel called to work with children we have a place for you! We have opportunities in our Preschool and Elementary Ministries. Whether you are looking to volunteer one hour a week or every Sunday we can accommodate your schedule. Come be a part of changing a generation!
Elevate/21Student Ministries: As a volunteer for this dynamic ministry you have the opportunity to reach out to the Junior High and High School students of High Point Church. Each week students attend our impacting services. Here’s your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our youth.
ANTHEM (College and Career - 18-29): This ministry is about transforming tomorrow's world by reaching today's generation. As a volunteer you will have an opportunity to minister to those who were raised in church or have never heard the name of Jesus. Axis provides worship that ushers in the presence of God, a word that brings clarity in a world of confusion, and fellowship that encourages this generation to be all that God has intended it to be.
HighPoint Preparatory Academy and Early Learning Center: Preparing students to live, learn, and lead with excellence! HPPA is a college preparatory academy for grades Kindergarten - 12th. Our Early Learning Center serves infants through four-year-olds. Areas to serve include clerical, maintenance, painting and artistry, special projects and events, and reading to and/or tutoring students. We’d love to have you! Come be a blessing! The opportunities to serve in either of these ministries are limitless!
Facilities: We have been given an incredible facility from God to hold services and to minister to people. Each week we see many souls saved many of whom are first time guests. As a part of this ministry, you play a vital part in keeping God’s house with excellence. Opportunities exist in housekeeping, lawn maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and campus operations.
Office Work/Administrative: If you love to organize, type, make phone calls, or assist with projects, then be part of the volunteer administrative team. The ministry team of HPC needs administrative volunteers to assist with various projects both during the week and frequently on Sundays.
