Technology Applications
In Technology Applications, offered in the 11th grade, the student will be exposed to various applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint and Excel). In addition to these applications, the student will also increase their typing skills as most notes and assignments will be due via email.
Students will be learning:
• How to gain a foundation of various Microsoft Applications
• Develop proper study habits for taking various tests
• Learn how various technological applications and tools are applied to real life.
• Fundamentals of how the stock market works (graphing charts in Excel)
• Basics of video editing
• Making a webpage from memory
Along with these projects, the class will take a field trip to the Apple Store, where they will learn various types of platforms of computers and their workings.
