At KidsPoint we believe that it is never too early to teach a child about the love of Jesus!  In our nursery our babies are provided with the basic love and care that all infants need while being sang to and told that Jesus loves them.  Each volunteer takes the time to pray over each child.  Our toddler and two’s classes reinforce this message with crafts, activities, songs, and lots of fun.  As they grow into our Preschool Department (3 years through Kindergarten) they attend their own active Praise & Worship Experience complete with Puppets, Drama, and Offering.  In their classrooms the lesson is reinforced with discussion, craft, and games.  All classes are provided a time of snack and free play.  Snacks provided include cheerios, graham crackers, goldfish, pretzels and Vanilla Wafers.  Please alert the registration worker and your child’s teacher if your child has an allergy or special dietary needs.

All of our volunteers are anointed for Children’s Ministry and have passed an extensive background check.  We are excited that God has given us the opportunity to change a generation one child at a time!  Nursery and Preschool Services are provided during all High Point Church Services including our monthly Ignite and Healing Services.  Please come and allow us to minister to your most precious blessing.

Misty Westlund, KidsPoint Ministry Director

Misty is so excited that God has given her an opportunity to be a part of what God is doing through High Point Church.  Each week she gets to look into the appreciative faces of parents and the loving faces of children and know that she is part of changing a generation one child at a time.  The first time she and her husband, Daniel visited High Point Church they knew they were at home and wanted to be a part of the vision.  They immediately began the membership process and started to volunteer.  Over the course of two years both Misty and Daniel volunteered in every aspect of KidsPoint from shopping to becoming Team Leaders.  After two years of volunteering she began to work part-time as a Nursery Coordinator overseeing one classroom of infants.  In the last three years God has greatly multiplied KidsPoint!  Misty is now privileged to be on full-time staff at the greatest church in the world overseeing the Nursery and Preschool Departments.

God has also greatly multiplied the Westlund family.  When she began volunteering in KidPoint they had no children of their own.  Now they have Andrew, 5, Zoe, 3, and baby number three is on the way!  Each week Misty and Daniel’s children are excited to come to KidsPoint and experience Jesus! It is Misty’s (and the church’s) prayer that your children will feel the same way!
